EDUCATION
Yolanda Amaxopoulou was born in Athens in 1999 and raised in Salamis. She began her musical journey at a young age, studying classical piano up to the Advanced level (Anotera), alongside theoretical studies in harmony, musical form, solfège, and music analysis.
She is in her final year at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Music Technology, and has participated in the international WAAE 2024 Athens Conference. Additionally, she holds a Grade 8 certification in Performance in Popular Music Vocals from the London College of Music, University of West London.
PERFORMANCES
As a vocalist, she maintains a dynamic and steady presence in the music scene. She has performed at renowned music venues in Athens, such as Faust, Stavros tou Notou, and Caja de Música. She also actively participates in festivals and major events throughout Greece, with notable milestones including performances at the Athens Festival, the Acropolis Museum, the Propylaea, and the Festival by the Sea (Lipasmata Multispace). A standout moment in her artistic career was her live on-stage collaboration with the acclaimed singer-songwriter Nikos Portokaloglou.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
With a consistent and long-standing teaching background, she regularly provides vocal coaching and training for students in contemporary singing. Her teaching approach is supported by a solid pedagogical foundation, derived from her specialized academic studies in music.EDUCATION
