STUDIES
He holds the integrated master's degree of the Ionian University ( jazz piano performance). He has participated in the IASJ conference in Luzern in 2009.He has studied with Dimitris Kalantzis,Giorgos Kontrafouris,Gianni Lenoci, Thomas Klausen, Armen Donelian, Kevin Hays.
COLLABORATIONS
He's collaborated with numerous artists in the Greek scene and abroad(Petros Klampanis, Andreas Polyzogopoulos,Takis Paterelis,Alex Drakos Ktistakis,J.D Walter,Tivon Pennicott,New York Gypsy all stars ,etc) , he is a member of the Next step quintet, he has composed music for cinema and theatre.
DISCOGRAPHY
He has recorded three albums with the Next Step Quintet, a solo album ( Yiannis Papadopoulos" Mirrorself") , as well as a number of session within the Greek scene.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
He has been teaching since 2008( P.Nakas conservatory , G. Fakanas art school) and Lab Music Education since 2017. He has also been teaching in summer camps and seminars in the Ionian University.
Yiannis Papadopoulos teaches Piano and Keyboards at LAB Music Education Athens.
