Thanasis Tsakirakis

• Thanasis Tsakirakis was born in 1996 and grew up in Itea, Phocis, Greece.
• In 2010, he became a founding member of Lunatics (the Greek Pink Floyd tribute band), with whom he gave his first professional live performances.
• In 2014, he moved to London to attend drum lessons at the London Music School, while also obtaining the Trinity College diploma: Rock & Pop Drums, Grade 8.
• In 2018, he moved to Athens and enrolled in the Professional Program at Lab Music Education, graduating in the spring of 2020.
• In the summer of 2020, he began collaborating with Nikos Portokaloglou, accompanying him in live performances and joining the TV show “Mousiko Kouti” (“Music Box”) as a permanent member of the band. The show, highly appreciated for its music-centered nature, was broadcast on ERT1 for four seasons (2020–2024).
• He has collaborated with hundreds of artists from the Greek — and international — music scene, whether through “Mousiko Kouti,” live concerts, or studio recordings.
• In 2023, he released his debut solo album titled “Scent Remains,” for which he wrote both the music and lyrics, while also performing the vocals and playing most of the instruments.
