Teta Vasilaki

Teta Vasilaki is a musician, singer, piano and contemporary singing teacher with flexibility and activity in diverse genres of music, in Greek and foreign repertoire but also in traditional music making arrangements. In recent years she has specialized in backing vocals and vocal arrangement.

She was born in Zakynthos. She studied piano, higher theoretical classical and contemporary singing. She holds Degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint and a Piano Diploma. In 2022 she obtained the diploma in contemporary singing, with distinction, from the Rock School of London Level 3 Certification in Music Performance-Final Grade.

Since 1997, she has worked at all levels of education as an hourly-substitute teacher in music lessons, in nurseries, in Music Schools in Zakynthos, Lefkada and Kalamata, as well as in Conservatories in the same areas, teaching piano, singing, and was also in charge of children's choirs.

-She taught at IEK DELTA 360 in Kalamata in the Music-Singing specialty.

-She was a founding member of the award-winning vocal ensemble ''Melifono'' in Kalamata.
-In 2020, she co-founded and is a member of the female vocal ensemble ''Bones Notes'' in Zakynthos, also doing vocal arrangements.

She teaches at Bougas School as a music teacher
and at the Lab Music Education Conservatory in Kalamata, contemporary singing and piano.

She has made dozens of live appearances and recordings in Greece and abroad (concerts, book presentations, music for the theater, etc.)
-From 2022 until today she directs the Vocal Ensemble ''Tettiges'' of Kalamata.
