Sotiris Konstantakis
Music education is not only about technique, but also about inspiration, discipline, and expression through rhythm
Sotiris Konstantakis was born in Patras, Greece, in May 1994 and began playing drums from a very young age, taking his first lessons alongside Kostas Vamvas.
He has maintained an active presence in the contemporary music scene for many years, performing in music venues across Athens and throughout Greece as a member of various bands, while also collaborating with notable artists. In addition, he has gained significant professional experience performing internationally as a member of a cruise ship band, appearing in venues around the world.
Throughout his musical journey, he has attended seminars and lessons with internationally acclaimed drummers as well as leading Greek musicians, continuously expanding both his musical knowledge and teaching approach.
In recent years, he has been actively involved in music education as a Drum instructor, focusing on the comprehensive development of each student, with emphasis on proper technique, musicality, rhythm, and the cultivation of creative expression through music.
