Platon Tzimas

Singing is not merely a means of expression; it is a fundamental human need.

Artistic Activity

Platon is a singer, guitarist, and vocal coach with an active presence in the contemporary music scene. He has worked as a lead and backing vocalist in concerts and studio recordings, as a freelance vocalist & voice actor, and as a presenter for cabaret events. He is currently working on his debut album.

Education & Training

He is an Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) Certified Trainer in Estill Voice Training (EVT) and holds Grade 8 certifications in Pop Vocals, Electric Guitar Performance, and Popular Music Theory from the University of West London. He has studied voice with teachers such as Katerina Kozadinou, Valerie Accetta, Tom Burke, and others, while also attending seminars on somatics with Georgia Achilleopoulou, as well as an intensive sound workshop with Dimitris Dimitriadis. With a strong focus on healthy voice use and vocal anatomy, he was introduced to Estill Voice Training and later to Kerrie Obert’s approach through a seminar focused on twang.

Teaching Experience

He has been teaching voice since 2021, focusing on the connection between technique, interpretation, and personal expression through a contemporary and healthy approach to singing. For two consecutive years, he curated and presented a musical theatre tribute project for the vocal department of Lab Music Education Zografou, giving students the opportunity to explore the repertoire and performance aesthetics of musical theatre.
