Born in Moscow in 1981, he began playing drums at age 16 and pursued studies in modern music and classical percussion in Athens.
•Professional Program Graduate (with Honors), Modern Music School.
•Degree in Harmony.
•Degree in Classical Percussion and Advanced Music Theory, Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
•Graduate of IEK DELTA (OEEK certified) in Music Technology.
•Drum Circle Facilitator Seminars with Arthur Hull.
•Participation in International Masterclasses with great jazz drummers including Jeff Ballard, Ari Hoenig, Jojo Mayer, Bill Stewart, and others.
COLLABORATIONS
Since 2008, he has collaborated with numerous artists and bands within the Greek rock, jazz, funk, hip hop, and reggae scene, as well as in musical theater productions.
Artists include: Grigoris Danis, Kostas Konstantinou, Giorgos Georgiadis, Tasos Karakatsanis, Vanila Swing, Swinging Cats, Penny Baltatzi, Maria Kilaidoni, Picos Apicos, Mc Yinka, Eisvoleas, 12os Pithikos and many others.
Personal Music Projects: Deaf Hippo, Hidroliq.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Drum instructor from 2008 to present, with experience teaching all ages from young children to adults.
