Miltiadis Kechagias

My goal is to help students understand the role of the bass, so they can effectively support any musical ensemble.

Miltiadis Kechagias is a music educator and bass player based in Athens, specializing in electric bass instruction through a modern, practical approach.

Studies

He began his musical journey at the age of 5 with classical piano, music theory, and solfège. At 17, he turned to the electric bass, initially self-taught and later studying under Giorgos Christodouloulis, Pavlos Maragos, and Michalis Evdaimon.

He completed his studies at Lab Kifisia Music Education, earning the RSL Certificate in Music Performance (Grade 8) under the guidance of Michael Evdaimon.

Teaching Experience

His teaching approach focuses on bridging theory and practice, enabling students to apply what they learn directly in real musical situations. He has an active role in forming and coaching student bands, helping students gain meaningful experience through rehearsals and live performances.

Performances / Collaborations

Alongside his teaching, he works as a session musician, performing live and collaborating with artists and projects such as:
Jozette, Theodosia Tsatsou, Idra Kayne, Legit Party Band, Aggelo Sfetsou.
