Michael Oulkeroglou
Michalis Oulkeroglou was born in Athens in 1999.
He began playing electric guitar at the age of 11, taking his first lessons with Michalis Karagiannis.
He graduated from the 5th General Lyceum of Korydallos. During his school years, he participated in student concerts and bands as both a guitarist and vocalist. He later began his studies at LAB Music Education, initially studying with Grigoris Ntanis and later with Spyros Georgantas. Alongside his guitar studies, he also attended courses in music theory, harmony, and vocal training.
He completed the Professional Pop Program at LAB Music Education and also participated for two years in the Metal Band Program, under the guidance of Spyros Georgantas, Alexandros Stavropoulos, Giorgos Gazi, and Revekka Georgiadi.
Throughout his studies, he has attended:
- Seminars and workshops in rhythm training, music pedagogy, technique, composition, improvisation, and other areas, led by accomplished musicians and educators including Michalis Evdaimon, Alexandros Ktistakis, Christos Kechris, Giannis Papadopoulos, Panagiotis Andreou, and others.
- Two years of keyboard studies with Vangelis Stefanopoulos and Katerina Liaki.
- The six-month guitar course Technique for Life by guitarist Giorgos Tsourapis.
In addition to teaching electric guitar, he is currently studying bass guitar with Michalis Evdaimon. He is also actively involved in various musical projects, cover bands, concerts, and jam sessions, while working as a session guitarist.
