Lia Hide is a singer, songwriter, pianist and music producer with an international career in avant pop and contemporary experimental music. With extensive recording and live performance activity, she has toured across 19 European countries, performing at festivals, music venues and showcase events, and has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Tricky, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Anneke van Giersbergen, Ida Nielsen, Kovacs, Front242, Zola Jesus, Eivør and Die Krupps. She has received multiple awards for her music videos and was selected as a HEMI Music Awards finalist in 2023, a Culture Moves Europe beneficiary in 2024 and an IMPALA Spotlight Artist in 2026. She has participated in conferences and showcase events across Europe and has also performed at festivals in the United States and China. She is a member of IASPM and HEVTA, and an sE Electronics endorsed artist.
Her personal discography includes 6 studio albums and dozens of collaborative releases through Greek and international labels, while she is also active as a producer, session vocalist, pianist and songwriter for both established and emerging artists.
She holds an MMus in Songwriting from Bath Spa University (UK), a Licentiate Diploma in Piano Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (UK), Diplomas in Classical Singing and Piano Performance with Distinction and First Prize, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music and an Associate in Business Administration from the American College of Greece.
Alongside her recording and performing career, she has extensive teaching experience in contemporary vocals, songwriting and performance. Her teaching approach focuses on healthy vocal technique, musical expression and the development of each student’s individual artistic identity through contemporary pedagogical methods and practical experience drawn from the international music scene.
