Konstantinos Rigas
Konstantinos Rigas was born in Athens in March 1990. He began playing the drums at the age of 12 and has since dedicated himself to the study and evolution of the instrument, launching his professional career in 2005.
Education & Training
He is a graduate of the Modern Music School Athens (2005–2013), where he studied under Michalis Kapilidis and other distinguished instructors, including Yiannis Stavropoulos, George Mitsotakis, George Katsikas, Manos Matsos, Nikos Sidirokastritis, Alexandros Drakos-Ktistakis, and Spyros Dorizas.
Throughout his training, he attended masterclasses and seminars led by world-renowned drummers such as Thomas Lang, Ray Luzier, David Garibaldi, Dom Famularo, Eric Moore, Steve Smith, and Jojo Mayer.
Professional Career
Since 2005, he has been actively performing as a professional musician, participating in live concerts, music shows, and television appearances. He has collaborated with prominent artists of the Greek music scene, including:
Laiko & Traditional: Antonis Repanis, Yiannis Ntounias, Vangelis Konitopoulos, Christos Papadopoulos, Vassilis Skoulas, Pitsa Papadopoulou, Stelios Dionysiou, Gerasimos Andreatos, Grigoris Bithikotsis, Manolis Mitsias.
