Faye Genevieve Karastergiou

Faye (Genevieve) Karastergiou is a vocalist and music educator based in Athens, Greece. Her musical journey began at an early age as a member of her school choir, where she distinguished herself through participation in nationwide student competitions.
In 2008 she graduates school and starts her academic path to the Department of History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
At the same time, she pursued her passion for music, studying contemporary singing at Filippos Nakas Conservatory under the guidance of vocal instructor Emilia Rapti, graduating with honors.
In 2015 - 2016 she attended vocal lessons with Sofia Sarri at Lab Music Education.

As a performer, she has appeared in well-known music venues across Athens, developing a versatile artistic identity that moves fluidly through pop, rock, funk, soul, and R&B.
In 2017, she released her debut EP “Floating” in collaboration with Bloobery J., marking her first step into recorded music.

Alongside her performance career, Faye is a dedicated teacher.
Since 2017, she has been a member of the teaching team at Lab Music Education, where she works with singers of different ages and levels, both in Athens and Peristeri. Her teaching approach blends technical knowledge with creativity and personal expression, aiming to help each student discover their unique voice.
She is a member of the Hellenic Voice Teachers Association (HE..V.T.A)
Her work is shaped by a continuous engagement with education, artistry, and the evolving understanding of the voice as both a technical instrument and a means of authentic communication.
