STUDIES
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Guitar from the Hellenic Conservatory, where he studied under Panagiotis Ioannou, and a Diploma from the National Conservatory, where he studied under Kostas Grigoreas. Both qualifications were awarded with unanimous distinction and First Prize. He has also studied jazz harmony at the Athenaeum Conservatory under Sylvios Syros. Additionally, he has attended guitar masterclasses with renowned teachers, including Alfonso Borghese, Alvaro Company, Lisa Smith, John Duarte, Stepan Rak, Nikita Koshkin, and Paul Galbraith.
ARTISTIC ACTIVITY
He has given recitals and performed in numerous classical guitar concerts across various cities in Greece. In parallel, he has founded and participated in a wide variety of musical ensembles with recording and concert activity, covering a broad spectrum of musical genres. Among these are the rock band "Stachtes," the Latin ensemble "Two Journeys to the South," the quartet "4 Seasons," the jazz group "Coffee Break," as well as the bands "The Hard Blues Band" and "Ragville" (which was invited to participate in a pan-European blues competition in the Netherlands). He has also composed music for theatrical productions, including "1350 gr" and "Sharks." Furthermore, he has appeared as opening act for major international artists such as Barry Melton (Country Joe and the Fish) and Greg Douglass (guitarist of the Steve Miller Band). He has also made international appearances, writing music and participating for several months in afro-jazz dance performances in Paris and Senegal. His most
recent artistic venture is the founding of the ensemble "Blues Echoes," with a repertoire focused on pre-war blues.
DISCOGRAPHY
He recorded (1986) the self-titled album with the rock band "Stachtes," which he also presented live at various music venues.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
He has extensive teaching experience in classical, acoustic, and electric guitar (1990鈥損resent), having served as a professor at the Iasonas Triantafyllidis Music School, at the Polyrhythmia Conservatory of Giorgos Metalinos, and at the Ariadneio Conservatory. Many of his students have distinguished themselves in the music world both in Greece and abroad, while he himself prepares candidates for admission to music high schools and Musicology departments.
