Danai Chanta Martin

Danai Chanta-Martin is a musician/music educator from Athens. She studied at the National Conservatory of Athens, where she received degrees in Piano, Harmony and Contemporary Singing. She is also a student at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time, she has been attendeding seminars on pedagogy, piano, circle singing and Orff Schulwerk from Greek and foreign lecturers (Olympia Agalianou, Michalis Tobler, Giannis Psallidakos, Keith Terry, Bryan Dyer, Barbatuques, etc.)
She has been teaching music (Orff Schulwerk) to preschool and primary school children since 2016 and piano and vocals since 2019. In 2021 and 2022 she taught at the International Music Academy of Spetses (MAAKSS), and she has also been a member of the teaching staff of Doukas Schools since 2024, as a vocal teacher.

● Lyrical editing and vocal performance of songs for the children's book series "HEROES OF LIO" by Haris Giakoumatos
● Participation as a backing vocalist for Marina Satti's ensemble FONES for the 9th Hellenic Initiative Gala (2021)
● Member of Marina Satti's vocal ensemble CHÓRES from 2018 to 2022 - ensemble member in the GNO operettas "Sataneri" (2019), "Medea" (2019) and in a series of concerts of the program "ALL OF GREECE, ONE CULTURE" (2020)
● Front vocalist in the acoustic Irish/folk band SONGBIRDS
● Keyboardist in the rock band AKASHA
● Session studio vocals for the band LUNATICS (Greek Pink Floyd Tribute band)
