Amalia Tzitzi
Expression and connection with ourselves and the world, might be the most important goal in singing or any other art form
Amalia Tzitzi is a singing teacher, vocalist, and performer.
With an active presence in the Athens music scene, performing at venues such as Gazarte, Afrikana, Stavros tou Notou, ILION+, and Spiti Art Bar, she made her first stage appearance alongside Dimitris Mentzelos and Etsi Nte at the age of 17.
She holds a Performance Diploma in Popular Music Vocals (Level 4) from the London College of Music and is currently preparing for the Musical Theater Performance Diploma (LCM, UWL) under the guidance of Lia Hide, while completing her studies at the Musical Praxis Conservatory.
She has studied contemporary vocals with Lia Hide, Sofia Sarri, Anna Tarba, and Konstantinos Pagiatis; contemporary piano with Panos Krabis; music theory with Giannis Dimakos and Thanos Papadellis; ear training with Giorgos Argyropoulos; jazz improvisation and jazz ensemble with Giannis Papanastasiou; and guitar with Alexandros Dandoulakis. She has also participated in the Soul & Funk Ensemble, Advanced Pop & Rock Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble.
In addition, she has attended lessons in classical singing, drums, and classical guitar, as well as international vocal seminars with Cheryl Porter and Stevie Mackey. Since 2024 she has been studying songwriting with Lia Hide, and is currently preparing her first original songs for her recording debut.
Alongside her musical studies, she has been trained in acting and dance. In 2018, she participated in the musical theater production Awakening at Sygxrono Theatro with the NYAS troupe. She also studies musical theater jazz dance with Wendy Gibbins, while remaining active in contemporary, Latin, and hip-hop dance.
Her teaching philosophy combines technique, creativity and expression, focusing both on the student鈥檚 artistic development and technical advancement, always with respect, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching contemporary singing.
