Alexandra Koniak

Alexandra Koniak was born in 1990.
She studied classical violin and music theory at the International Conservatory of Athens under the direction of Giorgos Sioras, with teachers Germena Ioannidou and Giannis Kekedakis. In 2012, she earned a diploma in Contemporary Vocal Performance from the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, where she studied under soprano Anna Alexopoulou.
She began her recording and live performance career as a member of the band Stavento (2008–2009), participating in the gold album “Simera To Giortazo” and appearing at the MAD Video Music Awards, where the group won the award in the Hip Hop category. She later collaborated with Christos Dantis until 2013.
She has performed at major music and theatre venues across Greece, including Stavros tou Notou, Gialino Upstage, Architektoniki, Onassis Stegi, Vergina Theater of Thessaloniki, Apollo Theater of Syros and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, among others.
In theatre, she starred in the musical and dance performance “Circus Explosiva” by the artistic group Nefelopetra, while also participating in the play “Small Murder Stories” by Panagiotis Bratakos, directed by Dimitris Karatzias at Vault Theatre.
Alongside her artistic career, she is also actively involved in music education. Together with Christos Serenes, she is co-owner of Lab Music Education in Pangrati, Athens, where she teaches vocal performance.
In 2014, she released her first EP with five songs through Polymusic, and in December 2018 she released her first full-length album titled “Lachio”, with music and lyrics written by Christos Serenes.
She is also the lead vocalist of the album “7”, which features reinterpretations of internationally acclaimed works by Mikis Theodorakis in four languages.
Since then, she has continued her recording career with the release of new singles up to the present day, including “Mono Esena” and “Oso Zeis”, while also participating in music productions and live performances.
